Arts and crafts, and Warhammer, at Thirsk Library!
We have two special activity days at Thirsk Community Library for ages 5-11.
First off, we have an arts and crafts session on Monday 17th February, 10:30-11:30 on the theme of superheroes. All ages 5-11 are welcome to come along!
Superhero craft session
Whether your little one likes Iron Man, Batman, Wonder Woman, or Supergirl bring them to the library on the Monday morning of half term to get the week off to a super start.
Craft session delivered by Make Time.
Please book in advance; £4 per child, siblings half price
Half price for families on Universal Credit.
You can also book at the library, or contact us.
We’d appreciate if you would pop in to pay if you reserve your place online, as we can only guarantee a place to those who have paid.
Places are non-refundable. Parents must stay at the session with their children.
Warhammer session, Friday 21st February
Then on Friday 21st February we have an introduction to Warhammer for ages 7-11, 10:30-12 noon.
Come and try out wargaming, using exciting models to create fast and fun battle games like “Warhammer” and “Star Wars”. This taster session will introduce you to the hobby: you can learn some simple rules and play a game straightaway, whether you are a beginner, or have played before.
Suitable for ages 7-11 – £2 per place
Chris has been running gaming and modelmaking workshops in the region for 10+ years – parents and carers can find out more on his Facebook page “Chris Geeson Creativeclubs”.
