Congratulations to Karen Maher and Christine Pomroy who are the first volunteers to complete all four practical training sessions. The second group of four sessions started today (8th February).
Practical training started in the library on the 25th January. Both sessions had fifteen volunteers in attendance. The next sessions take place on the 1st February. One hundred and twenty places were made available, only six places are still available today (26th Jan)
Thank you to all those who attended the volunteers event on the 14th January.
Several members of the steering group have completed the practical training sessions in the library. The sessions are varied and can be taken in any order. There are four sessions in total lasting about 3 hours each.
The first session for volunteers is due to take place in the library on Wednesday 25th January. In the first instance we will email all those volunteers who have email accounts giving details of dates and sessions.
We would like to thank all those who attended the volunteers event that took place in the library between 5pm and 7pm on Thursday 3rd November.
There is a further event on Saturday 3rd December between 10am and 12 noon.
You will be able to find out what is happening at the Library and how you can take part in ensuring and shaping its future.
We look forward to meeting you!
